How fast it loads on a phone. Most people won’t wait. They hit back and call the next result.
How you show up on Google, including your Google Business Profile: the listing with your map pin, reviews and hours.
Whether people can tap to call you straight from your site.
Whether your contact form actually reaches you. Plenty quietly stop working and nobody notices for months.

What the write-up looks like
One page. For each problem I find, three at most so it’s worth your time to read, I’ll tell you what I saw, why it matters to your business, and roughly what fixing it involves.
If you want me to fix something, I’ll tell you what it would cost. If you’d rather do it yourself or pass it to whoever looks after your site, that’s fine too. The write-up is yours to keep.

Finding 1 of 3 — your site takes 6.4 seconds to load on a phone
- What I saw
- On a phone, your home page took 6.4 seconds before anything useful showed up. Most of that is three photos uploaded straight off a camera, around 4 MB each.
- Why it matters
- Most people won’t wait that long. They go back to Google and ring whoever’s next. It also makes you harder to find in the first place.
- What fixing it involves
- Resize and re-save those three photos, and switch on the caching your hosting already includes. About two hours. Nothing needs rebuilding.

Will you hassle me?
No. You’ll get one email with the write-up and one offer of a 15-minute chat. That’s it. If you tick “Keep me posted”, I’ll also send the odd tip now and then, and you can stop those any time by replying.
Do I need a new website?
Often not. A lot of what I find can be fixed on the site you’ve already got. If yours does need replacing, I’ll tell you straight, and why.
